Curious what people are spending on their metrogas -- we`ve moved to a PH, but we`re in Urquiza so we still get the subsidio -- our bill just arrived this morning and I`m surprised considering how little we had to pay in our last place in Canitas (22-35 pesos avg, highest winter bill maybe 55):

We use gas for hotwater and for oven, we don`t even have the heat on yet. When in Canitas we had same type of water heater and about same consumption but the bills were much smaller. Unfortunately my husband just handed over all the old facturas to the owner when we moved out so I don't even have anything in front of me to reference, ie I'm not sure if 92m2 is high consumption considering there's been no increase in the amount of use we've had on the oven/hotwater -- not sure whether to suspect problem with the meter or if that's correct.

Curious if others have their bills arriving what your consumption is and how much are they charging you?

Thanks!

Think it's more likey your old place had a meter that was faulty or your supply had been "adapted"..we used to pay 16-25 pesos avg for a 4 storey house with central heating and gas cooking...our friends in a small 2 level 2 bed PH paid 300 on avg..we were lucky. Sounds like you may have been too. Maybe ask a neighbour if you can...

What fifs said. 250m house I lived in was charged 30 pesos a month and had central heating, 2 hotwater takes etc, while my friend's 50m2 apartment had charges of 60.

our average for the last 12 months is $16/mo. we have a gas stove and radiant floor heating (rarely used). 120/sqm. no subsidy.

We pay about 30 per month. 80 something m2. Yours seems excessive to me.

But then there's also that malarky about using more gas than the same month the year before so your bill jumps up because of that. Can't remember how that works but I seem to remember they screw you for that.

Ours has always been high. Even in the days we don't have the heating on it is high. In summer I paid 300. Now in fall it is 610 and we don't even have the heat on yet. I am in Palermo so I have been paying imported gas since they adjusted for that. I just increased the water temperature to get hot water in the mornings and that made all the difference. In winter with the heat on it gets to 800. We used 91m3 this bimester.

Yes SMCali -- there is that -- but it appears we used less than what the last tenants did in April 2012, so it is very confusing.

I also notice on our bill in the Cuadro Tarifario it say the Fecha Resolucion was 01/01/2013 and the Fecha de Vigencia 01/01/2013... are these meant to be same, because next column is Periodo en dias 62. The other that is in Feb 2013, when the apartment was completely empty, they still had 38m3 of consumption. And that last bill, which we weren't responsible for since it arrived just 2 days after we moved in, was also for 200 pesos.

Just went outside and read my meter -- on my bill says that last reading was 6851, and on 10/04 it was 6944... don't know how that's possible since today 02/05 it only says 6881.

Oh BTW -- I didn't mean sq meters of your apartments ;) I meant m3 consumption of gas on your bill! Thanks!

For the first billing period of 2015, FACTURA MINIMA was 13.07 for my total bill of 22.86

The bill I received yesterday has a FACTURA MINIMA of 27.45 for a total bill of 41.27

The subsidy remains and is based on my annual consumption of 317 m3.
