Migraciones Appointment - Can I Bring Translation Help?

I was able to check it immediately. I think the same day. Mine has said "El expediente no registra movimientos" since the day I got my precaria at Migraciones.
Hmmm... Mine is not showing up - its been a week so far. I have my precaria

I've tried http://www.migracion...orm_inicial.php and http://mininterior.g...tramite-dni.php

I entered in the long 26 number that starts with 6734. Both say no results exists when I search. I didn't do my residency in BA - maybe its slower in the other cities?

Mmm... try this one: http://www.migracion...orm_inicial.php with the short number that ends in 2017 on your precaria. You will enter the first 5 numbers. The last four are the year. Then your birthday.

Also, I found these two pages to be helpful :)

I hope this helps. My status just changed yesterday so hopefully it will come in the mail very soon.

Hey, that one works for me! I used the short number on my precaria that ends in 2017, and was able to see results.
Mine says "Estado: Su trámite fue resuelto el 15/05/2017"
so maybe it's on its way...

Thanks - that works! I think the previous method was pasting the 26 character number. Looks like they have changed the system and the 5 digit number works.

Su trámite se encuentra en etapa de supervisión. Consulte nuevamente en los próximos días.-

I just... want... to open a bank account... and a phone line... and work legally... etc. etc. no big deal ;-)

With your precaria, you can do all those things legally. However it's a pain to find companies that wound to deal with the headache of it. Hope it arrives soon

Mmm... I suppose although not really. I can't even use most bolsas de trabajos... and the only bank I have found to allow me to open an account is Banco Provincia but they require many other things like 3 months of proof of income <_< I can't open a phone line (just prepago) without it either.
And thank you, me too. :) It's in estado de emisión since last Wednesday!

Ohhh your's was "resolved" just two days before mine! You'll have to let me know when yours arrives so I can rest assured that mine isn't too much behind it ;-)

DNI is in hand now!
A colleague at my office has a friend at Migraciones that was keeping an eye on the progress for me and contacted her to come get it when it was finished, which saved me the trouble of having to be present when Correo Argentino would try to deliver it.

Now to proceed with the remainder of my residency process...
