Milei to New Yorkers: Flee "communist" Mamdani to Argentina

It's often been said that Mamdani-Leninism didn't fail. It's just never been tried. That's because Russia is the last place Mamdani-Leninism should have been rolled out because there's just not enough other people's money there to ever make it work. Manhattan is where M-L should have been tried first because there's more other people's money there than just about any other place on earth. So let's keep our fingers crossed and hope that the truth about Mamdani-Leninism finally comes out.
Milwaukee, for most of the 20th century, had Socialist Mayors much to the left of Mamdani.
Neither Mamdani nor Milwaukee was ever "Leninist", though.
They did do much more than Trump in terms of investing in infrastructure, though.

study after study proves that the rich are actually not very geographically mobile.
Aside from a handful of young crypto wealthy moving to Puerto Rico, and they tend to return in a couple of years.
Once New Havana City is up and running this time might be different.

The Scandinavian and German influence in states like Wisconsin and Minnesota, which also makes them "blue" states. Versus, say, the red states of the Deep South, where just about nothing works. And where I'm stuck right now.

That's good because socialism only works if there's enough other people's money to pay for all those free things Mamdani promised.
Empty headed sloganeering from someone with no clue about Argentina, this broken record turns up about once a year to yap at the forum.

Again, the one who ran out of other people’s money in Argentina is the libertarian, and now he’s grabbed USD 2 billion more (10% of the swap fund, already, after a few days) to spend on his ideology.

I spent several months in Argentina in 1996 studying Spanish and getting to know how things worked before deciding to expatriate to Taiwan instead. It was clear even then that Argentina's free money system would never work because it lacked enough other people's money to make it work and printing money instead was destined to failure.

Rather than being impressed at your recalling of a short interlude 30 years to paint all everything in Argentina with the same brush, I am amazed at how Argentina has been living rent-free in your head for the past 30 years. That's quite an impression Argentina made on you, but wouldn't you like to get over it and move on now?

You really don't like the line about libertarians running out of other people's money, do you? 🤣 Because that's what Milei did, before the elections, and it's what he will do again, if he's allowed: 10%, or USD 2 billion, of the USD-Peso swap fund has been used already, 3 weeks after the elections, at that rate it will last 6 months, or so. But a 30-year snapshot of Argentina isn't going to help with understanding that.
