Tried MoneyGram just now and it's great. If you do the debit card to bank account direct deposit you pay $1.99 for any amount you send and money posts in a few minutes. The transaction comes in from a CVU under your name and does not post like a "payment" as is the case with WU. MoneyGram also has a free bank to bank direct transfer but it takes 1-3 business days allegedly to post. Need to verify.

Which country are you using Moneygram in? Is it possible to use the Argentinian page?
Using the US site. I am in BA right now so there was no issue with that.

I sent another transfer yesterday but debit card and the whole process took 40 minutes. It'll be good if you need money in a pinch. Even wu takes at least 24 hours.

Money gram has a much lower exchange rate for cash pickup. Therefore, if you don't have a bank account it's useless.
it's 197 with direct to ARG bank account. So yes it's not for everyone but an alternative for some...
