More Banking Headaches

I just wanted to let those of you who have Wachovia/WellsFargo know about a new headache. I just checked my online account and they charged me over US$7 to transfer money from my savings to my checking account with my online banking... yes, with my online banking. They of course said there was no way to get around it as well.

I don't know if other banks are doing the same thing. I would love to know if anyone has had this happen and been able to get them to wave the service fee. Otherwise, I am looking for a new bank... any suggestions?

That is ridiculous! Online transfers should be free. I have a local credit union from Oregon, they treat me really well. Even refund ATM fees. You should check out a local credit union when you get back to the states...if that is where you are from.

I use Citibank in the States, and think the're great.
Bonus is that all my wdrals here are no-fee at Citibank ATMs.
