Moving in January!

Okay, thanks everyone for your stories. Sounds like it's either going to be a piece of cake or I'm going to be dragged through hell to get on the plane. I'll keep my fingers crossed. Just booked a day trip to Uruguay, so hopefully that'll get me out of any complications the US wants to throw my way. (Hopefully) see y'all soon!

I arrived two days ago and thought I'd pass along my experience.

In short, it was a breeze.

In the US, the ticketing lady gave me no gruff. I had my round trip to Uruguay (pre bought) as insurance in case she did but I didn't need to pull it out.

When I got to Argentina it's a two step process - person with the fee, then the person stamping the passport. I said I was staying for three months (technically true since I'm day tripping to Uruguay in that time) and paid the fee. The next lady stamped my passport with no questions and that was that!

Piece of cake I'd say. So if anyone else stumbles upon this thread, hope this eases your nerves a bit.
