Hello!!!

I am moving to Buenos Aires in June and I am looking for a job.

My degrees are in Political Science and Political Philosophy. I know how to conduct research, do statistical analysis and I have good writing skills. I am fluent in English (I did my studies in English), Spanish, French, and Romanian. I also have experience working with NGOs in the fields of human rights and community development. Any ideas about what kind of jobs I should be looking for and where?

I am really not looking for some fancy office job. I was thinking the tourism industry could be a good place to start with (hotels, hostels, tourism agencies). Also, I was thinking of looking for some writing-editing-proofreading jobs. Is there anyone with experience in these areas who could give me some advice about how to proceed?

I was also thinking about working in libraries, cafés, confectioneries, or any other kind of shops. Could it be a good idea to go around places with a CV and ask if they have any positions available?

I don’t have much experience with job searching because I’ve been in school for my whole life, so some of my questions might seem silly, but I would really appreciate your advice. Also, it would be great if anyone could suggest some web resources about how to write a good cv in Argentina.

No Spanish, no work XP , no work permit? well tourism may be a good area to start in black?

I doubt the first world foreigners who work in bars all have there papers

I would say there are 3 options

1: teaching English
2: work in bar
3: online work

Or a combination of those 3

Might also be a good idea to spend your first few months volunteering, that could lead to something good but is kinda a long shot

Bring enough savings with you, I would say atleast 1000-1500 a dollar month and a return ticket

Good luck
