Moving to Buenos-Aires need answers

Hello BA-Expats!

I'm moving to Buenos Aires on the 27th of August for work. I need help finding an apartment.

What websites can I find these apartments?

Are there websites that I should use / and can trust better?

I've read a couple of scary stories about people on this forum that has been scammed big time. I would like to get as much information as I can before finding a place.

Which areas are to recommend for a European, and which should I avoid?

Price range; I'm thinking around 300-500 Euros a month.

Any information and tips are more than welcome!

Don't rent an apartment with Liliana Graciela Miculan or use www.homesba.com or deal with Tomas Laffaye. You will be sorry.

Number one advice I can give is to stay in a hotel or a 1 week temporary rental while you search here and see the places yourself and get to know the agents/LLs. I would never rent from overseas only over the interent.

I'm really looking forward to this move, I've booked 2 weeks on hotel so there won't be any stress to find a place.

I hope I will like this city and hopefully I will stay here a long time.
