My Company tells me this - is it true?

Argentina has a unique fixation with foot hongos- it comes up again and again, these inspections of the toes. You cannot go to a public swimming pool, without being inspected each and every time.
Was there once some kind of deadly plague of athelete's foot, that swept across Argentina, killing thousands?

I don't believe your friend can fake or a doctor will fake the medical result of your friend HIV test, nice try but is simple not possible and no doctor will risk his license for this, and anyway in a country where you can demand your employer for almost anything, the employer will not risk to not take a employ because he has HIV.
Another thing that make it not a easy to believe story is that when you are in this clinic that do preoccupational test they call you in a random order and there are to many doctors and rooms for every test so is not possible to chose who will make your test is actually designed to be like that. In other words everything point that this statement of a friend with HIV faking the result is a big lye of your friend or just an invention of yours

Yes. I had to go through that myself a few year ago before I was hired by an American Co. doing business here. Had to submit to blood & urine test. Chest X ray, Eye & Hearing test.
Had to strip to my DVD's in front of a female nurse who peeked at the "package". I thought the whole thing was hilarious. Also weighted & measured. The whole test was paid for the employer who hired me. It turned out to be a blessing in disguised because I was made aware of a serious conditioned that I didn't know I had. I now keep in in check.
I worked for the company for three years.
