Need Advise On How To Handle My Maid

My wife is traumatized , because our maid of many years , long before me , is taking a leave of absence to care for her dying husband. The stress (?) of trying to replace her , even until she will work for us again , is driving my wife crazy , and of course she takes it out on me. The biggest problem is neither of us can use an Iron effectively.

One way around the labor laws here is to just make every employee a director of the company , and cause for termination is much less severe. Too many Chiefs and not enough Indians.
