Need Boxes

Hello,

We are moving to a new place in a few days and we need someplace to buy moving boxes.

Any suggestions?
 
I found this a bit tricky when we moved a couple of years ago. If you contract an actual moving company (as opposed to a flete), they will drop a load of strong, basket-type boxes at your house a week or so before the move, you pack everything there and listo. If you're going for the cheaper, flete option, finding boxes is a pain in the arse. In the end we had to resort to just asking around at our local supermarkets - they were happy to put some aside.
 
It's hard finding boxes because these homeless people go around collecting them. Ask your local Chinese supermarket.
 
The best way to find boxes is buying them used on mercadolibre (search for "caja mudanza usada").
The guys sell them for quite cheap (was about 3 pesos each two years ago), they deliver them and they are in good condition.
 
You can find them on MercadoLibre and have them delivered to your door.
