Need help with antique German text, bitte !

In Swiss Romande there is a stain glass museum. Maybe they can help you date it.

ETA: It is in Romont which is the hub of stain glass making in switzerland.
I've been directed to someone in Fribourg who is a stain glass specialist. Do you want me to send the photos of the window?

Well, here is the discussion I had on a German Heraldry forum (I am "Antoine" on it)

One of contributors has the catalog from the collections from the Bern Historische Museum and they have a "painted glass" with the exact same text. Therefore I think it's a 19th century copy of that glass, unless those families made more than one of those glasses with different images (too bad I don't have a picture of the one being held in the Bern museum).
Of course, I emailed yesterday the Bern museum to ask them to check (this catalog is old, and objects in museums sometimes disappear) but they did not reply -yet maybe-.

Hence I rather think it's a copy, an antique one of course (+100 years old, made of course before this painted glass entered the museum collections), but a copy.

There's a glimmer of hope those families could have had multiple glasses with their names on it, but sincerely, I don't expect that. Ojala que me equivoco !

It remains an interesting piece though.

Maybe you should go skiing in Switzerland this summer-winter :D and go to the museum to see it yourself ;)
Or maybe you are mistaken? (think positive ;))

If it was stolen and I give it back, maybe will they send me chocolate or better an invitation to go skiing :p

Mrs Hofer ran a famous house of ill repute in the Luzern region in the 1600s. [that party depicted in the work is not a family picnic] Each bedroom had an original stained glass window. You, therfore, have a very interesting original piece.
