Excellent Steve, as I recall, long time ago you recommended a "person" that could assist people with all their local paperwork needs, call it visa, rental, etc.
The rate was in US dollars and was reasonable for a one time visit to Migraciones...!

Yes, I did and her one time visit rate was very low.

She is now a very successful professional in another field and her rate is higher now.

Nonetheless, with the Radex system it´s now possible to do almost everything on line and by the time one goes to migraciones with the paperwork, anyone who speaks Spanish and English should be able to provide sufficient help.

PS. She is now in the insurance business and I highly recommend her to anyone who needs home or auto insurance.
