Just caught the end of an advert for Claro where they offer Facebook, Twitter and Whatsapp traffic for free.

Does anyone know if Argentina has laws against this sort of shit?
 
Those 3 turds are wasting half of the worlds productive bandwidth. Pure garbage.
 
I think even in the US this would not be considered a violation of net neutrality. As long as the data packets are treated with the same level of priority, the ISP is being net neural. Comcast and a few others have been mulling this same strategy as a way to go around net neutrality. They have not done so simply out of fear that Google might go nuclear on them.
 
Except Whatsapp Ghost mate, which I find has saved me a fortune on pay as you go text messages.
