The Presidenta announced today the new minimum wage $4400 she insisted that when Nestor took over the wage was $200 pesos so the increase is 2200 % (4400/200 )x100 and placed the Argie laborer above all Latam neighbors.
This is a simple math calculation . Using compound Interest calculations the actual adjustment was 32% per year. for 200 pesos to become $4400...!!

She expressed that IF inflation had been 100 % per year for the last 11 years the inflationary adjustment would have been only 1100 % (100 x11 ) ???? Is this correct? She made a Simple Interest Calculation? So the Salary Increases by CFK by far exceeded the Inflation.???

IMO the future Value of an amount of $200 pesos at 100 % per year over a period of 11 years
is at Compound Interest .

FV =200 x (1+1)*11 = 200 x 2048 = $409,600 !!!!

My argument is that inflacion was lower before. it is clarified in the link I posted the divergency on statics since 2013.

The inflation was lower 2001-2007 but after that increased sharply if you apply a 32 % average increase per year for eleven years to a base of $200 you arrive at $4400 , Just an exercise in Compound Interest not necessarily the reality.
