Hi Everyone!
I stumbled upon your excellent website/forums while planning our trip to Argentina. My husband and I are Canadians, and we'll be making our first trip to South America in December ... concentrating on Argentina, with a short side-trip to Chile. We're really going to be hoofing it across the country ... trying to do as much as our budget allows (unfortunately not as much as we would like). We will be going to the Salta area, Mendoza, Santiago de Chile, Puerto Montt, Bariloche, El Calafate, and then back to spend almost 2 weeks in BA, trying to live like a "local" in a flat/condo.
We're very open to any suggestions as to how to make our trip enjoyable ... and we are very much looking forward to our long-ish stay in BA.
