New Trains To Tigre

Even the Brits knows and aknowledge quality, they could have gone the cheaper way ala Chinese trins but......Hitachi built trains are
way more superior. Craftmanship, safety, and low maintanance into the future. Japan's Bullet train "shinkansen" 50 years ongoing no accidents so far. High tech cost but worth it..
Kudos to England for capable decision..Cheers Brits !

It will cost an eye-watering £32billion, but the proposed high-speed rail project along the length of the country is being seen as 'a once-in-a-generation opportunity to transform the way we travel in Britain'.
The proposal is set to get the go-ahead today from ministers, setting in motion a plan to build the first phase from London to Birmingham through some of the south's most beautiful countryside.
The project, expected to be completed by 2026, will see trains travelling at 225mph, cutting the journey time between the two cities to just 49 minutes.

meh, the corrupt cunts still sold off the profitable, highly rated publicly owned east coast line to their mates. Giving one company both "lines" from London up north.

If it's anything like the Linea San Martin line, within a year they will be filthy by the end of a year. Enjoy them while they're new. We travel on the Linea San Martin frequently and the seats have not been properly cleaned in a year. The windows are already gathering layers of dirt. The idea of regular maintenance and deep cleaning seems to be an anathema here which is a great pity. Also they haven't worked out that if they keep the windows closed the air conditioning works as opposed to having them all open and all the cold air immediately disappears.

It's San Martin has air conditioning now?

Anyway the problem with the San martin has always been the people who ride on it.

To the surprise of no-one the Chinese trains are now falling apart and due to the lack of spare parts they're having to scrap some trains to keep them running.
