Night And Day

I have to say.. this is paradise.. for me anyway.

Found myself tucked into a few 1 to 1.5 meter barrels about 20 minutes south of Punte Del Este over the weekend and I was all alone not a sole in sight. Having grown up in Laguna Beach this is a coast land that is pristien and untouched in many places. After the 100 man line ups in Cali for such things I thought I was dreaming as I so often have dreamed of such things.

This is an expat forum not a local forum locals here will always have some $Y#R% to deal with. You have let the poverty prosper and that will always drag you down and they will over time vote you into pain unless you take action. And you will never do that.. because hey as so many Argies told me when gave to the poor..

Why do you do that.. its not your problem!

Well guess what Argies.. the problems of the poor are about to be your premanant problems unless you deal with it.

Or perhaps the cuban lifestyle appeals to you more..

There are some indications that Cuba is running the show now in Venezuela now that Chavez is incapacitated. If you have ever been to Cuba you would know that is the last country you would want to be running your economy.

Its pretty sad if your priorities in life are getting a good dollar rate and paying less taxes.

As much as I get pissed off with things in BA I'd rather live here in than some boring city where I pay 2 pesos less for a coffee and can exploit the local economy with my western currency .
