Non-Stop Exodus of Multinationals Leaving Argentina...!

Coca Cola has purchased a variety of other drinks in various countries...
In Argentina Fernet Cola is the national drink..!

I am not sure whether you misread my post: Coca Cola keep selling here, they just move the administrative regional HQ to Brazil.

The Coca-Cola company is moving in its entirety from Argentina to Brazil. Once the move is complete, the Coca-Cola company will have no assets or personnel left in Argentina.

The Coca-Cola branded drinks that are sold in Argentina are manufactured and distributed by FEMSA, a completely separately owned and operated company that licenses the Coca-Cola brand and formula. FEMSA will continue to operate normally in Argentina.

From the article that you either did not bother to read of chose to ignore:

"The link between alcohol and cancer is well established, says Cancer Research UK. A study published in the BMJ this year estimated that alcohol consumption causes at least 13,000 cancer cases in the UK each year - about 9,000 cases in men and 4,000 in women.

Cancer experts say that for every additional 10g per day of alcohol drunk, the risk of breast cancer increases by approximately 7-12%.
(...)
Last year, a study in The Lancet concluded that alcohol is more harmful than heroin or crack when the overall dangers to the individual and society are considered.

The study by the Independent Scientific Committee on Drugs also ranked alcohol as three times more harmful than cocaine or tobacco because it is so widely used.
(...)
Katherine Brown, head of research at the Institute of Alcohol Studies, says the current guidelines and how they are communicated may be giving the public misleading information.

"We need to be very careful when suggesting there is a 'safe' level of drinking for the population. Rather, we need to explain that there are risks associated with alcohol consumption, and that the less you drink the lower your risk is of developing health problems.

I personally have no issue no issues with alcohol, soft drugs, hard drugs, fried foods, fast foods, assado or whatever. Each one should be free to put whatever they wish into their bodies.

But if you are bashing Coca-Cola for being "unhealthy" while sipping your Malbec, you are a virtue signaling hypocrite.

lol, not quite. you posted one a couple articles and studies against it, and there are some that promote its benefits too. have you ever seen or heard any scientific study whatsoever that claims any miniscule health benefit of soda?

What is the health benefit of Dulce de Leche? Of Gelato? Of watching TV? We don't consume things just because they have health benefits.

When was the last time someone caused a fatal car crash after consuming a few cans of soda? Is there any correlation between domestic violence and soda consumption like there is with alcohol? Are there support groups to help people overcome their soda addiction?

Again, it is highly hypocritical for anyone to go on a moral crusade against Coca-Cola while holding a bottle of wine.

Interesting that Pagina 12 is taking over more or less 1:1 the press communiqué from Coca Cola: world wide restructuring (has nothing todo with Argentina!) plus an investment of 770m pesos (which is the equivalent of usd 5m) in the local market. Hurray!!! (It goes without saying that Coca Cola is not going say: we are leaving Argentina because economic conditions have made life difficult here.)

The trend continues:
Companies are leaving towards Brazil
The rich are moving to Uruguay / Punta del este
The young and ambitious are emigrating to Europe/US
