Not An Expat -- Yet!

Yes, be careful with maps, I can't count the number of times I've had a Pueyrredon and Pueyrredon situation.
It's quite crazy to imagine telling someone to go to Main Street and Main Street, but planning, forward thinking,
etc. were never an Argie strong suit to begin with :p

Apparently, having more than 1 street with the same name in the same city is a "Spanish" thing. When I lived in Barcelona, Catalonia, I wanted to visit an art gallery. According to my mapa,, it was in the Horta part of the city. I took the metro to the last stop of the line and walked to where i thought the gallery was located. I was in what looked like a government apartment complex. Not too bad, but certainly not an "art area". I later found out the street that I wanted was near where lived.

Hola!

I'm planning to spend a few weeks in BA in October to check it out as a possible move for me. I'm in the process of flight and hotel bookings.

I'd like to stay in Palermo. I found a B&B that I initially understood to be in Palermo. However, when I map the location, the address is given as Villa Rosa. Is Villa Rosa a neighborhood of Palermo? It seems far from the center of the city. Please advise, with thanks.

I have a B&B in Palermo. Moved here 5 years ago and love it! You are very welcome to come and stay and I will help you find your way round this great city. I am not one of the people on this forum that is constantly looking for stuff from home that they can't get here or moaning about things that don't work efficiently. There is much to love about this city, especially the abundant and accessible culture!
