Opening a bank account

Now the Central Bank has approved opening accounts in yuannes. So hold your breath . May be a good option..!!

It is a more informal arrangement and a very small, new company that does not have capacity for a visa facilitator, etc. Would there be any ways around having my employer coordinate the DNI/visa?

To be clear, you only obtain a DNI after successfully applying to the Dirección Nacional de Migraciones (Migraciones) to become a temporary migrant to Argentina (i.e., applying, being assessed, and being granted). There are various temporary migrant categories you can apply under. If your employer is unable to support your application as a worker, you may well not qualify under any other category.

There is a recent thread on this website from somebody who was able to open a bank account without a DNI.
