Organic Fair

Hey!
Just thought I would put out the word about a great Feria Organica, to buy in season, organic fruits and vegitables; organic and locally made cheese. they also offer a wide variety of workshops including everything from dance to how to fix your bicycle. Organic and natural cleaning and beauty products, clothes, and an amazing variety of vegan/vegetarian/organic foods to try and buy! really worth the trip to check it out..it is in the train station in san fernando, Tren de la costa. its called "sabe de tierra"

I checked the website, looks like it's Saturdays and Sundays from the 7th Oct.

There's also El Galpón in Chacarita and el Mercado Solidario Bonpland here in town. I'm not sure what the situation is at El Galpón now, but careful with some of the stuff there - esp beauty products etc - it's not necessarily all organic or even all natural (as in, they contained petrochemicals. Sadly, that tends to be the case here with 'natural' products unless you really do your homework).
