When the same thing happened to me with pago facil, i sent them my US bank statement showing my savings. But it wasn't enough so I could not reactivate my pago facil account. This situation didn't impact my ability to send and receive Western Union to my bank account or for cash pick up. It only impacted Pago Facil account. Form for Western Union that we have to fill out every 15 months is different than what we need to submit to Pago Facil.

Facil.Muchas gracias, Frank2000! Very good to learn of your experience. I sent the form to Pago Facil and the supporting docs they asked for. No word back yet.
I am happy, though, that I can transfer up to $1000 USD from Santander to my Wells Fargo account in California with no fees or taxes, and it is very easy and fast. I don't think I will do that often, but I have a couple ongoing domestic expenses to pay.
