When the same thing happened to me with pago facil, i sent them my US bank statement showing my savings. But it wasn't enough so I could not reactivate my pago facil account. This situation didn't impact my ability to send and receive Western Union to my bank account or for cash pick up. It only impacted Pago Facil account. Form for Western Union that we have to fill out every 15 months is different than what we need to submit to Pago Facil.

Facil.Muchas gracias, Frank2000! Very good to learn of your experience. I sent the form to Pago Facil and the supporting docs they asked for. No word back yet.
I am happy, though, that I can transfer up to $1000 USD from Santander to my Wells Fargo account in California with no fees or taxes, and it is very easy and fast. I don't think I will do that often, but I have a couple ongoing domestic expenses to pay.

hi guys, have you faced this problem? I am trying to send a western union transfer to my friend in Calafate to his wallet but all the time it shows incorrect name. I dont know what to do, I type the same name as he showed me sending pago facil screenshot. Thanks in advance for any clue.

Howdy Xpic,

Although Pago Facil and Western Union cashiers typically operate out of the same branch, they are two separate companies. Cashier's sometimes offer to "receive" a western union transfer into someone's Pago Facil account, but they are for all intents and purposes the cashier is receiving a Western Union transfer in cash and initiation a Pago Facil transfer in cash to the receiver (without the hassle of counting cash each time). If you are running into complications trying do this cross-platform transfer, there may be a mismatch between the receiver's profile for each account.

What I would recommend is that you either do a Pago Facil to Pago Facil transfer or a Western Union to Western Union transfer. Whichever you choose, both of you need to be registered on the same platform.
