Permanent residency: bringing items duty free? Car?

Yep, all this leads me to believe that I will be buying a car here. The Ford Ecosport and Chery Tiggo are looking like the way to go.

The crazy thing (that you never would see in the States) is that we can sell Laura's used Toyota Corolla for the same price today that she paid in 2004. Anyone looking for a great used car? :)
