You could take nice chess class at the Club Argentino de Ajedrez, the biggest in latin america I think. You can go Thursady nights or saturdays 2:30 Ithink.
They are cheap too.
Go to www.argentinodeajedrez.org.ar and visit the site.
There is a canadian guy playing ournaments there.

Aw. Thanks for posting this. My uncle used to run the local chess club and his small group won quite a few tournaments. Brings back memories. He died last year and I hadn't seen him in 7 yrs. :(

Anyway, as for the photo course, I never did get around to doing this. :( I've really absorbed the "manana" attitude! Perhaps I'm more suited to island life. lol.

So, I'll just say: DO IT!! Go! Today! Alright, not today, but Monday AM, bright & early. Be proactive. :D

Hi Nick! I would recommend you to try out a photography workshop at Foto Ruta. I did one and really loved it. I learned so much and I must say it really improved my photography skills. Here's a link to their website: http://foto-ruta.com

They make photography tours and workshops both in spanish and english so that's quite helpful too.

Good luck in BA! :)
