If Kagan is confirmed, the Supreme court will be 1/3 Jewish. The other two thirds are Catholic.

Interesting, for a supposedly Protestant country. Remember when Kennedy was considered unelectable because he was Catholic?
 
There is something very fishy when a minority of people who are just 5 percent of the population are controlling nearly 50 percent of a government as in the case of the USA . Raul Emanuel calls the shots in the USA not Obama.
 
Israel needs to make difficult choices soon, but the problem is who could be the Israeli "providential Man" (man/woman) who would be able to make those ?
Peace is sometimes a zillion times more difficult than war

In France we had the chance to have De Gaulle who had an aura powerful enough to decolonize Algeria.

Sharon could have been this providential man, unfortunately his destiny decided otherwise.

Would remain the highly symbolical Jerusalem issue... Why not give it a very special statute ? Since a millenium, religions of the Book have been fighting over it.
