Pre-Ordering Food For Christmas?

Hello! Does anyone know if food such as ham, turkey, pork etc. needs to be pre-ordered for Christmas? I realise that this is a mundane topic, however I am out of town for a few weeks so I can't wander down to the local stores and ask them myself.

If you are planning to buy from your local granja,butcher then yes it would be a good idea. If you shop in the supermarket the same as anywhere. You take your chances what is available.
