Problems with re entry?

Has there ever been a verified example of someone being denied reentry (in the clean sense) from Colonia or Carmelo? I know there have been some threads of people claiming to have been denied, but they never seemed to be verified.... Heading to Carmelo next Sunday on day 90. First time in a while I've pushed the limits to that extent (again, in the non-dirty way). But hotel is already booked and weekend w/friends is planned. I'll drown my anxiety in white wine by the pool before heading back to the ferry I guess.

Went to Uruguay for the 9th time last week. No problems. Had given up the habit until I realised that they might have to start checking for valid tourist visas at casas de cambio if you want to buy dollars. Relax!

I have a friend who has been doing the visa run since 2001.
Look! most people who do this are yanquis, you get paid in Dollars, the Argentine government wants Dollars, so why oh why would they want to stop you being here?
When the Guy at the eduana complains, do as they do; smile, shrug your shoulders and say "I know but what can you do" :D

the only people who have had real problems, I think, are those who go to migraciones. Like walking into the lion's den and wondering why there's a problem! Doh!

I agree. The deportation order I saw of expat were from people who tried to get legal residency.

He can deny your re entry, so, being nice is a better reply.

I insist, it makes no sense to renewal the visa because you are irregular anyway. Read the decree 616-2010!!!!!!!!

I exit the country out of Ezeiza at least once per month and have been doing this for past three years and only twice was asked why I was coming to Argentina. I was warned that eventually they would give me problems on reentry, but this has never really happened. when they questioned me, I just gave them a quick answer and no more problems.
