Hi guys!

I was thinking to post this thread and said it's my friend's situation but sigh... just admit it's me.

I arrived in buenos Aires in February with a 30 days visa, planned to stay for one year, then pay the 500(or 300 pesos) before I leave the country.

But here come the situation - I need to leave to go to Chile soon for a project for about 5 days.

So now the question is:

1) how much is the fine now? Last time I heard from a friend is 500 pesos

2) If I leave the country after 9 months overstayed, when could I entry again? Or could I ever entry again?
I'm more than willing to pay 500 pesos fine if I could get in again after 5 days. I read from somewhere that if your 30/90 days visa has expired, you need to leave the country at least 10 days for the next entry. Is it true?

Thanks in advance for the help!

You shouldn't have any problem, once you pay the fee then the record is clear, so it allows you to enter the country again. The last time I heard was still at 300 peso. Crossing the land is much easier, paying cash at the immigration counter.
good luck
