Questions from a newcomer

I have had 2 esims in my phone for years. One movistar, one verizon for usa.
In each country, I make the line for the other one wifi only, turn off roaming.
occasionally I turn on my US line when in Argentina for a few minutes, to make sure there are no sms or other messages, but I dont use it for calls in or out.
But I am pretty good about not losing phones.
For me, 1 phone is simpler than 2.
 
Lately I’ve been using Claro and the US number with TELLO, both with E-sims and now I can get SMS messages with both lines. I only activate Tello if I need to receive or make any WiFi calls.
