I paid the airline $200 to bring my $700 REI Novara Mountain Bike with me when I flew down months ago thinking I could take it when I traveled around SA but I didn't think that through very well. There's really no practical way do it in a bus. It's been nice to have at the Reserva Ecologia when I could get a ride over there and for shopping errands but I'm leaving for parts of South America unknown and can't take it with me.
It's in good shape, a couple of years old, has front shocks, disk brakes, fenders, rear rack, a data gismo and comes with my unused helmet, tools, pump, water bottle, spare tube, headlight and red strobe. The frame is fairly large....I'm 5'9" and it works for me but probably not for someone shorter.
