My accountant told me that you have to remain in Argentina for 180 days per calendar year to avoid being charged assumed ganancias on your house rental by AFIP (talking about a situation where there's only a house-sitter and no rental income).
My question is, if you go for part of 2013 and part of 2014 so it makes up less that 180 days in each year, but the trip is actually over 180 days, would that fit in with the rules?
TIA if anyone has any pearl of wisdom, info or assumption that they would like to share....
 
Technically a calendar year is from January 1st to December 31st but people often misuse the term so it would be best to confirm with your lawyer.
