Smell Coming from Drains

Hi

Our drains in the kitchen, laundry room have been really smelly over the past week or so, but I notice that after the heavy rains yesterday the smell has disappeared. I'm trying to figure out if there is any link.......?

It has come up here before.....



Always have water in your “P” traps... the “U” shaped thing under the sink.
Every drain in you house has a “P” trap ... fill them all as needed.
In the Summer everything gets ripe faster and the rains help to wash everything un-treated out to the middle of the Río de la Plata faster.
Anyone for a ocean swim today or a glass of tap water?
