Hi... I need to go to Hospital Aleman next week and in my search on the forum I'm not getting a really clear answer as to where I should go as an uninsured walk-in. The outpatient center? And where is that? Thanks very much for your help. :D

First, you will need to go to the "linea de cajas," which, if you're facing the building from Pueyrredón, is the left entrance of the building. You hand them over your identification (Passport, DNI), and it might be helpful to tell them for what time you have an appointment (turno) and with which doctor. At that point, you'll pay, and they'll hand you a "numero." The numbers appear on a small monitor in the waiting area, which is along the wall by the cashiers.

Hope that information helps!

Great thanks so much. But I don't have an appointment... I will be a walk-in. So do I go to the same place. Thanks again!

Yes, it's all the same. I saw a few folks coming in without appointments. Assuming you're going to see a general practitioner (medico clinico), you should be fine checking in there. Good luck!

That's a good point, bradleyhale. Some specialists might have their schedule fully booked for the day or indeed not be working at that hospital on that particular day. In which case obtain the appointment and come back when appropriate then follow the plan described above.
