Hello,

I'm planning a trip to Patagonia for the last 1.5 weeks in November.

Was doing some research, and thought I'd get some opinions about a possible schedule.

I have 10 days, total.

Travelling with parents, who are Sr. citizens, so not into too much extreme hiking.

Day 1 - 3
+ Fly from BA to Calafate, arriving early AM.
+ Perito Moreno
+ Laguna Nimes

Day 3 afternoon/evening
+ Bus to El Chalten

Day 4 - 5
+ Fitz Roy Mountain
+ Lago Desierto
(Worth visiting both of these? Experiences different enough than Calafate?)

Day 6
+ Fly to Trelew from Calafate
+ Kind of pricey, but not seeing flights to Puerto Madryn, nor many bus options between the two places.
+ Better ways to get across between the two?

Day 7
+ Punta Tombo Provincial Reserve

Day 7
+ Overnight bus from Trelew to Esquel

Day 8
+ Arrive in Esquel, take morning bus to Bariloche
+ Afternoon in Bariloche

Day 9
+ Tour around Bariloche Lakes

Day 10
+ Fly back to BA in evening

Am I trying to pack in too much?

Does it make sense to drop the Bariloche piece of it?

Missing any "must sees" around Calafate area?

The primary reason for the Punta Tombo portion of the trip is that one of the folks travelling really wants to see penguins, and seems like they are in most abundance in that reserve.

Thanks!
