Steak

Just read this Buenos Aires Foodies post:
http://www.buenosairesfoodies.com/2015/06/04/steaks/

While we don't usually go to the "downtown tourist-friendly parillas" mentioned in the blog, I was rather surprised to read that these places commonly charge "USD 45-55" for a steak? True?

Steak and fire just don't fit, see the picture. Not for locals, indeed.

You prefer the Brazilian stuff, then? I've found El Trapiche (Paraguay 5099) to be an excellent value. We had a really good entraña there, portion large enough for two.

Do they actually season the meat? or do they subscribe to the Argentine medieval (pre-spices) style of meat?

I am yet to find any meat in Argentina that is beyond passable, much less heavenly.

many times I wonder what are you doing here... go back to Brazil!! you will be 100 times better and you wont complain any more. Come on! you are not a kid anymore, you are a grown up, you may have resources to get out of this hell!! it cant be that difficult.

ps: and the meat....... seriously?!?!

96000(and counting) I don't believe that camberiu lives in Brazil. He has said previously that he is Brazilian but lives in the U.S. and visits Argentina often on business.
