I know that this has been discussed a log before on the forum, however, when I searched, I did not find what I was looking for.

We are planning to take our dog with us to the States when we make the move back there.

However, my brother claiming to have done a lot of research now tells me that the US doesn't allow dogs from Argentina into the country (on the grounds of a high rate of rabies).

He claims that the only way to take our dog with us is to:

- Have record of immunizations for the last two years.
- The dog has to be fixed.
- The dog must go under mandatory quarantine for three months.

As I recall from reading other posts on the forum, I only need a record of a rabies shot within 6 months of taking the dog to the states. I also do not recall seeing anything about the dog needing to be fixed or put under quarantine.

Can anyone clarify this for me? Has anyone taken a dog to the states who can tell me what you had to do?
