Tarjeta Ba Vos

This week I got my Tarjeta BA VOS at a station in front of the Medicine Faculty in Capital.

The Tarjeta BA VOS is open to anyone, even to tourists. It's completely free and it gives access to discounts in many stores and attractions. Some examples include: 10% discount at Carrefour on Wednesdays, 20% discount at Rex any day, 20% discount at Sodimac in certain days, additionals discounts at Farmacia Dr. Ahorro, discounts on certain products at Chungo ice-cream shops, discount to certains hows at Teatro Colon, 10% discount at Garbarino, etc. Up to 300 ARS of discounts a month. It can be ordered online and picked up later or in some stations you can simply walk in with your ID and they will print it out immediately.

The Tarjeta BA VOS can be used also to pick up bikes from the EcoBici project.

You can get it at a bunch of different places. I saved 1200 pesos going to the colon which is why I got it in the first place

What is a Station...? a subte or a CABA tent like point of contact??

Some "stations" are the Comuna's premises, others (like the one I went to), was like a temporary office built with plastic and wood in the middle of a square, similar to the various BA Estaciones Saludables and EcoBici registering points you can see scattered throughout the city.

It's the same card given to those who sign up for Coberatura Portena de Salud. The hospital name is printed on the reverse side of the card.
