seems like individual shows (e.g., La Boheme, Don Giovanni) are sold out, but season tickets still available.

How did you find out that individual tickets have been sold out? There are extraordinarias for the operas, i.e. non subscription performances. Were these sold our before the box office opened (not impossible in Argentina). If you have information on the purchase of individual tickets could you send me a PM? Thanks a lot.

Sold out already? I am arriving in May for one month and wonder if they will have tours of the theatre since the restoration? I believe I read in the BA Herald it was openng either May 24th or May 25th.

Thank you very much.

I tought all tickets went on sale 4/19, but when I checked the night before (4/18) the extraordinarias for La Boheme, etc. were listed "sold out" already. Not sure what happened, since a few weeks back it stated those would go on sale 4/19 at 9AM as well.

I don't have any more info, but my guess is those tickets will start showing up soon on www.mercadolibre.com.ar.

Can someone enlighten me - is the Gran Abono for the opening nights of the operas? What is the difference between the Abono Nocturno Nuevo and the Abono Nocturno Tradicional?

I called Teatro Colon and spoke to a woman who said that all the remaining tickets will go on sale the first week in May. When I asked her what date & time, she said she did not have an exact time...(typical). I'm not sure if that information was correct or not, but I bet it will be pretty darn hard to get tickets for any of the opening events or operas in May & June...
If anyone finds success here though, please enlighten me, because I am dying to go to Teatro Colon this winter!!
