I am planning to move to Buenos Aires in April for 6 months and am open to staying longer if I am able to make ends meet. I have eight years experience in the corporate world however I imagine it can't be too easy to get a corporate job in Buenos Aires- has anyone here done so? Certainly I realize it will be vastly different. The other option is coming to Buenos Aires and going through one of the schools to get my TEFL certificate and teach classes and tutor. Sounds like there are a ton of schools and all of them pretty expensive although I am afraid if I don't get certified and make connections through the school, it will be harder to gain employment. I am a world traveler, speak Spanish and just want to get out of the U.S. for a while and work in order to support myself in my new life am concerned about the risk of unemployment while I am there. I am sure this sounds very familiar! Any advice is most appreciated.
