I don't support the killing of innocent civilians on either side. The fact is both Israel and Hamas have blood on their hands. Moderate elements within Israel and Palestine, who are willing to make concessions and compromise in the interest of peace, are systematically silenced by extremists on both sides.
I agree, I don't support Hamas either but what's interesting is that Israel are responsible for them winning the Palestinian elections. They deliberately stalled the peace process and provoked the Palestinians so Hamas could win the elections. It's an old case of divide and conquer. The Israelis don't want peace, they want and are carrying out ethnic cleansing.

This is a political game of inches. The most salient point of the Guardian article is that we really have no clue who did this...jumping to conclusions based on what the media says, at this point, yields no clear answers.
Not true. What assassin would want to get caught with their face on passport photos all across the world? Surely that would be the end of their career. No these people were working for the Mossad for sure. Or else they would have stayed in the country longer to avoid detection. Also the Mossad have been involved with fake passports too and some of the identities stolen are actual Israeli citizens.
Some argue that it was made to look like it was the Mossad, but I don't buy that either because it would be easy for Israel, or any western intelligence organization in the world, to find these Caucasians.

Very interesting point in the article about how civil liberties in Dubai will be hardest hit, possibly eroded further as CCTV and surveillance is validated by capturing images of men in bad wigs and Groucho Marx glasses and moustaches.
If it wasn't for those Hotel surveillance cameras they most likely would not have found the passport photos of the assassins. It also provided them with information how the operation was carried out. I'd say surveillance cameras are good, at least when the police and government actually are working on our side, like this case in Dubai. Had the hit been carried out in a western country, I am sure the tapes would have disappeared or 'shown nothing'.

you and I really haven't got a clue and we rely on manufactured news at best.
No, we rely on the information the Dubai police releases. And our common sense.

There were many who wanted to see this man dead, not least MI6, CIA, Fatah, I could gone on.... this is still an ongoing investigation, but many people are like mindless sponges, especially it seems when 'sucking up' the underlying theme of most of the news threads pertaining to this matter, which exposes mindless antisemitism.
Yes but only one organization could have carried it out like they did. And here we go again with the antisemitism label. Whenever Israel is being criticized, just bring out the label. Just shows what a Zionist you are.

More outlandish conjecture or have we inadvertently killed a man responsible for stoking the fires in the Middle East and killing thousands of Israelis and Palestinians by paying tax?
No what they have done is committed a terrorist attack against the Palestinian people. If they can justify that then surely they can justify when Israeli officials are murdered by Palestinians
