Text messaging

I brought my unlocked phone from the US to BsAs. I switched my SIM card to a Personal Light prepaid SIM card and it's worked great. It works in the Subte and it's fairly affordable. One can reload at AR$15 or AR$20 at convenience stores all over town and I've sent SMS to US and Europe and it works just fine. You also get a local Buenos Aires mobile phone number and use it like a local phone.

This sounds like the best idea so far. I'll have her take her phone to AT&T and have it unlocked before she leaves.

Thanks you for your time,
Enjoy your trip,
Kim
