I was so pleased to attend a speaking engagement of The Dalai Lama at the University of Utah,SLC. It was a wonderful, uplifting experience to hear him speak. The Tibetan residents here first played musical instruments and danced and sang, all dressed in their native costumes which are so bright and lovely .One left with such a feeling that their are so many good things happening in the world. His talk was all about love, peace and forgivness and treating everyone as an equal. Also, a bit about the history of his life and that he also is a refugee. As he was leaving the stage, a student shouted out "I love you, Dalai Lama" and that brought a round of applause and he smiled and told us that he would be back. He has a medical problem with one of his knees and He said that even if he has to come in a wheel chair next time, he will still be able to " bla, bla, bla"
