These Are The People Who Are Stealing Your Money

Steal: to take (something that you are not supposed to have) without asking for permission (Merriam-Webster).

If you feel like Jumbo/Carrefour are charging too much yet you still go to those supermarkets then it is not them who is stealing your money, you're just giving it away. Personal responsibility, people. Its a simple concept. La Campora needs to learn how to take responsibility for their actions. People who cling on to their idiotic "blame the opposition for all my faults" mentality also need to educate themselves on personal responsibility.

Finally, it is never "stealing" when you're giving money away on your own. Try to claim "theft" from an insurance provider on this and you'll learn your lesson when you get a notice to appear in court for fraudulent claims.

I have watched several informs in tv, one from 678, and what they said is true: supermarkets today are having more than 100% of gain. They buy a product for 5 pesos and charge 10.
Lemosn at Mercado central 5 pesos el kilo, at supermarkets, between 25 and 30.
Remember Mercado central is venta minorista!

So, yeah, supermarkets are stealing our money. The politicians too!! Both are stealing the money!!
OK then...so why does my local green grocer shop sell bananas at $20/kg whilst the Dia next door sells them at $14/Kg?
Of course one is bound to say that any supermarket has more buying power, but one cannot underestimate the cannieness (sic) of the small trader, particularly here.
As for The Nazi Youth Party La Campora, they seem to have become a loose cannon all to themselves.

They really must have a good life: making 100% and thus not having to pay employees, rent for the store, insurance, nothing gets stolen or expires, ... Just wonder if all people complaining are too lazy and/or stupid not opening a super market on their own - seems like a great business ;)

Around where I live a lot of people seem to do that. Kiosks, small stores at every corner here. And they sometimes have surprisingly competitive prices compared to the big chain supermarkets. But I don't live in the city ...

I also watched 678 report. They Calculate the difference bet. the price of supermarket price and Mercado Central prices as Ganancia or Profit, In the lemon case they calculated close to 500 % profit. Which is OK to impress Doña Rosa,,, jajajaj and apparently also you.

But you as a savvy economist know that there are many overhead costs, advertising is 14% of the super prices.

advertising is 14% of the super prices.

that 678 said too! jajaaj, you too are impressed.
In fact, what they said is that the oposition newspaper do not talk against the supermarkets because in exchange they got the advertising (lots of full pages with offers in color, etc) and that its true, Jumbo, Coto, etc is more than 30% of the advertising these newspapers have on a Sunday. It makes sense.

So using your logic, an expat who constantly feels cheated or swindled in Argentina and or by Argentinians and hates most things about Argentina yet continues to live here simply doesnt have a sense of personal responsibility. The government isnt stealing from anyone, the people are just giving their money away. I like the way you think. Lets just hope yours isnt another rhetorical double standard.

I already explain Dia supermarkets in other thread.
Groceries stores should not sell much more expensive than Mercado Central. Probably in less fancier neighbourhoods, out of reach from the expats bubbles, the groceries sell A LOT more cheaper than Belgrano, Recoleta, Palermo, etc. The price goes according the faces of the consumers AND a little cheaper than the prices in supermarkets.

youre correct. The retailers are price gouging and not only that, they are hoarding. And it needs to stop. Its just most people on this forum come from the " old world " where people still worship corporations and anyone who doesnt is a socialist, communist or " campora monkey ". Its a rather simplistic regurgitated point of view but you cant expect much from average joes. Most people only see whats in front of their nose and they are quite happy with that.

Yeah I was waiting for Kirchner-Jugend to accidentally put Cristina's pic up, hotels in Patagonia, Gucci bags, growing USD networth anyone? At least get it right when it comes to showing the people.

A tad strange Fravega is a target, poor little shits can buy a PS4 due to import taxes? It's Fravega's fault!!!
