Hmmm ... but more pertinent may be this:

A person can become a German citizen at some time after his/her birth through the Einbürgerung (German naturalization) process, i.e., by applying for German citizenship and satisfying certain legal requirements. One requirement is the formal renunciation of all other nationalities, unless legally impossible under the laws of the applicant's home country.

The point is that German does recognize dual citizenship in instances when citizenship is gained by birth (and not naturalization as in your link). Image German parents have their child in Argentina. The child will then be German & Argentine by birth & thus German does recognize dual citizenship.

Anyway, it's an interesting discussion but it doesn't matter as the OP is not German... :)

I'm really curious what the OP is going to do.
