The U.S. is the worst. Yes, other countries have difficult and invasive requirements. I draw the line at countries that "require" my bank statements for just a one week visit. I think in regards to Argentina a lot of us have gotten spoiled over just needing to show up with our passports. It's a shame. It should be getting easier to travel between countries, not harder.

As a follow up.....i flew to Chile for the weekend and absolutley no questions about health insurances, just a day count confirming less than 90 days on the way out, nothing on the way in except confirming where I was staying....

Returned July 30 . No requirement for insurance. Can't imagine how "insurance" from non-certified "international" sources which never pay the bills but say they will reimburse to likely irresponsible or corrupt patients for "certifiable " billing could be acceptable. There is no way to make the patients pay the institution.

What a ridiculous comment... Schengen countries require this throughout Europe... Thailand, most of the middle east, dozens of others...just takes a little work to find this out, lol
