Why is Carlson the issue? He just asked Milei questions and Milei answered. Milei is what matters. The interview was highly informative. Why should I care about the interviewer?

What about this sitting arrangement, by the way? Milei seemed very uncomfortable in that chair, like a schoolboy in the principal's office.

I think it's more about economics. Most couldn't care less about the Mapuche conflict unless they live in that area.

That's not true at all. Carlson was actually quite skeptical about the voter machine fraud claims.

The mentioned 2020 news is not related. The Defamation lawsuit from Dominion voting machine company was settled in April 2023. Days before the trial was to begin, Fox lawyers read all the SMS from TC, which indicated he did not believe the voting machines were related to any fraud, and also Trump was wrong to keep claiming fraud on the days before Jan 6th. So regardless of his personal beliefs shown in some messages, others from TC state the Fox Business relied on reporting what the viewers believe. The case Fox had been ready to fight up until that moment was not able to be defended. The $787 million settlement was half of what would need to be paid if they lost in trial. Neither Fox or Carlson was found guilty In a court trial. The messages are in the public record. Other more controversial messages not related to the case were also included in those records. No one in the general public really knows why TC was fired from Fox a few days later.

That is the most recent event which is a reason why people do not trust the word of Tucker Carlson. His agenda is to spread half-truths and vague conspiracies so he can continue to profit. He knows that Milei’s political platform resonates with his viewers, and that advertisers are willing to spend money to keep those viewers watching.

You are correct. It is very difficult for journalist to be found guilty in a case of defamation or libel in the USA, which allows many of them to stretch the truth. Especially if they lack ethics or do not believe in the news they are reporting. In this case though there was enough proof discovered by the lawyers of his employer that they knew the risk of losing during trial was high.

Carlson wrote critical comments about Trump in emails to Fox personnel. He also questioned US involvement in the Ukraine war. The latter was in contradiction to Fox positions and got him in trouble. Facts, readers, not fake news.
