Uber app not working in Buenos Aires

über worked just fine for me on 22 June. USA credit card. I use Argentina telephone number.

I used the same, US card and Argentina phone number 27th June. The driver told me that uber is still illegal in Argentina but they still operate secretly. They don't have the Uber sticker on the windows here though, may get them some trouble with the taxistas.
