Whilst I agree the currency rip off is a world wide phenomenom, the old, "this is the way it is" live with it, mentality reaks of complicity and complacence. If I thought my views of the world on ethics, values and living as a better human being had no value in Argentina I wouldn´t get out of bed in the morning. We expats can all positively influence this country whilst still accepting its cultural delights.
